We like to go to a place called Fun4Two in the Netherlands. It’s known to be one of the best swinger clubs in Europe, and Matteo and I definitely support that statement! While swinger clubs often have All-You-Can eat buffets, dancing areas and separate “play”-areas, they differ very much in character depending on the people that attend, the size and quality of the building and the staff etc.
That being said, I will describe how our night went the very first time, when we had all kinds of anxious thoughts like: “What if it is all old people in Bathrobes?”, “What if they all know each other?”, “WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR!?”
If you have any of these thoughts, don’t worry! It would be weird if you didn’t worry about this stuff. After all we all want to appear sexy, likable, or even funny, depending on someone’s character.
In Matteo’s case, he is a skinny guy, and went more for the comedic route. He wore tight fitting boxer-shorts with neon smileys all over it.
In the Club Fun4Two the common rule is, that at 22.00h they play a funny old Dutch song on the speakers (I never understood the lyrics, but it definitely has something to do with taking your pants off). At this point everyone has to go up to the locker room and rejoin the dancefloor in their underwear.
At first this was kind of scary to think about ahead of time, but honestly, once everyone was dancing in their underwear it felt weird if you weren’t also in underwear. The neon smileys on Matteo’s boxers made it even less awkward, and made him very approachable in a sense. Just think of it as everyone wearing bikinis at the beach, would be weird to be in a full suit right?
I was wearing a kind of red, lacy lingerie underwear and bra, under a short black dress. Kind of classy and fancy, which honestly was my first mistake (the safe route). Let me tell you why…
In the first 10 minutes that we returned to the dancefloor, a really hot woman in her mid 30s passed me by wearing only a full body fishnet and heels. In the dense packed dancefloor area were everyone was already in underwear she extremely stood out to me. At this point I can’t even tell you if she actually was really hot! But the fishnet outfit created such an impulsive attraction that everyone was more comfortable when the lady was around and constantly complimented her on her outfit.
So then I told myself, that next time I am not overthinking it, because I was literally the most vanilla looking girl in there (I even thought about wearing a fishnet before going, and thought its a bit too extreme).
To make it easier for you guys in case you decide to go to Fun4Two, or even take our little info pieces to a different swinger club, we decided to give a few tips for girls, and a few tips for guys that hopefully keep you from overthinking too much and enable you to be excited for the evening to come.
Tips for Women
- You know best what looks good on you, you know if your butt looks good in tight shiny materials or if it looks better half exposed, or in a thong. You also know what angle, what facial expressions look best on you, trust the instincts of what YOU think is hot.
- Go a bit more extreme than usual, if you usually use a fade and balanced eye shadow, instead go heavy on it. If you use slight eyeliner, instead go full top lid and lower lid, and even have the liquid eyeliner-wing. Maybe order some cheap shiny outfits on Amazon just for the evening.
- Think of it as your own little VIP theme park, most people see the swinger club as an opportunity to be slutty and obvious, which is normally frowned upon. In the swinger club there will be no judgement. If anything its more of an unspoken contest on who is the sluttiest.
- I recommend taking a Taxi there- and back, most clubs even have the bartender call the taxi for you, so you can avoid the chance that anyone sees you in front of their door waiting. On the flip side you can also dress super slutty because the taxi driver will be the only one seeing it.
Tips for Men
- A black shirt goes a long way, also keep in mind that this shirt will come off pretty early on, since most swinger clubs have some sort of rule to be in underwear by a certain time.
- Your underwear is your outfit, just like for the women, you know best what you look best in, and even if you are not sure, rather wear underwear in which you are comfortable. Loose boxers or tight ones, does not matter, but it is a good opportunity for some funny or flashy decals, since most clubs are dimmed but with black lights in certain parts.
- Bring slippers! Yeah, Matteo also thought its weird to go around in slippers, so the first time he did not bring any, and had to have his shoes on, which was logistically awful… Some thin hotel slippers would have done the trick. Instead we bought “Rick and Morty”-Themed slippers for the following times.
- Don’t worry about your body, the others at the club certainly do not. Yes, there are super top of the line good looking people walking around as well, but we have seen all ages and body types, and we have seen and heard every possible person to be attracted to every possible type. For example, there was an absolute 10/10 of a woman, who was after an older man, because he reminded her of someone at work… You never know if someone is into you, so don’t hide yourself!
As a Woman...
I personally feel like Fun4Two is the most comfortable club I have ever experienced. I always loved buying revealing or kinky outfits but when it comes to wearing it outside (to normal clubs), I can’t help but see judgements from other people.
You either have girls whispering about your slutty outfit, or a creepy guy trying to grope you. So because of this atmosphere, that I mostly felt in normal clubs, I had my reservations about going to our first swinger club.
Once we actually went, the level of openness and respect I found at the swinger club was unimaginable. This is regarding both the staff and the other swinger guests. All of the guys came together with a girl, because most swinger clubs don’t allow single guys in. So this fosters an atmosphere were girls are respected and sought after, rather than “hunted”.
I realized that you can’t compare a swinger night to a normal club night! You might be like me, and have to try it once to really see the comfort.
But if you want to go all out, don’t hold back, this is the best opportunity to wear some those kinky outfits that never gets to leave the bedroom!
